CNN Host CUTS OFF Pakistan Minister Citing Social Media as Evidence for Rafale Claims #shorts

“It’s all over the social media!”

Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif recently appeared on CNN, where he was asked to provide evidence about the country’s claims of shooting down five Indian Air Force fighter jets.

“Where’s the evidence for that, sir?” the CNN interviewer Becky Anderson asked Asif.

In response, the Pakistani defence minister cited social media posts as proof.

“It’s all over social media. On Indian social media, not on our social media,” he replied. “The debris of these jets fell in Indian-occupied Kashmir and it’s all over Indian media.”

Anderson cut Asif off at this point to say that he had not been asked to the show to talk about social media content. “You’re the defence minister, sir. The reason to talk to you today, sir, is not to talk about content all over social media. I’m sorry,” she interrupted.

Meanwhile, Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif and FM Ishaq Dar have echoed claims of downing five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafale jets, one Sukhoi Su-30MKI, and one MiG-29, as well as an IAI Heron drone, stating that more could have been shot down if the Pakistani army had not shown “restraint”.

Although India has yet to confirm these reports, CNN cited a top French intelligence official as confirming that a Rafale of the Indian Air Force was downed by Pakistan. Additionally, French authorities are looking into whether more than one Rafale jet was shot down by Pakistan.

If confirmed, this would be the first combat loss of the French-made aircraft in history.
