The social media have a competition on who has the shittier life because that’s apparently worth bragging about on the internet.

You could say that i did this vid for quick art style practice, but i just did it because i really like this musical (Avenue Q is one of favorites along with Legally Blonde and Dear Evan Hansen:)).

Hmmm… whenever i make a video for fun and want to upload it, i feel like i have to polish it and make everything perfect before sharing. Be it an animation, speedpaint, or simple animatic in this case. But this time, i’m going to own up to it!: this is a lazily made video that i specifically just wanted to do for fun this time without the stress of having to make everything shiny-looking.
Call this one a complete shitpost if ya will, although i will admit that there was some degree of effort put into planning, but just not so much for the art. :p I’m sorry that it’s not some sort of extravagantly crafted animation meme this time, but perhaps we’ll get back into that later! :,,)

Drinking game: take a shot everytime somebody “bounces” (i.e, the screen pans downs then back up very quickly!)
Another drinking game: take a shot everytime somebody has that shadow in the middle of their face or sweat drop thing (i literally do this to cheat certain expressions lmao- just an easy way to show that somebody is pissed bc it’s a tad tricky to do when you lack a few facial features!)

Hahaha anywho, this animatic kind of shoehorns a hamfisted message about social media itself and its late-generation users just wanting to make a meaningful contribution to the world, but that’s kind of hard to do if the only world you’re familiar with is the internet. But it’s a shitpost so i shouldn’t be looking any deeper than the thin grease of a leftover rossarie chicken oops!

Just know that it says phones bad– they’re so bad that they make me talk so pretentiously about them as if i’m not sucked into my computer myself whoopsie poo
