PPC board shim

The PPC board shim is designed to lift the angle of attack on your board in relation to the foil optimising your foiling experience.

This shim will avoid you crashing at high speed while winging as your board won’t catch as much water on touch downs.

You will get a little more front foot pressure while foiling, which assists in board control as speed & through turns.

Some brands of foils on the market ride very nose down, meaning you’ll find you get a sore back leg. The PPC board shim will balance out your set up meaning even pressure through both feet.

The PPC board shim has a patent its unique design & name.

PPC SURGE 4.8m wing review after 3 sessions (compared to Strike and Ensis)

We do not see many PPC wings in these parts… I believe the Blue Planet guys are the only ones selling them in the USA. But I got to ride this SURGE 4.8m for 3 almost back-to-back days, and each session I was able to switch off frequently with both the Ensis 5.2m and the Strike 5m. So here are my initial thoughts after a few days of riding this wing. And honestly, I’m pretty stoked on the PPC!
