DESCRIPTION:
We, like you, have been hopeful for a strong, pleasant 2021 to recovery from a tumultuous year.
For those hoping 2021 would provide a calmer political environment… Sorry.
In just over a month, we’ve dealt with confusion over election results, a crisis in DC, another impeachment, and a host of issues on social media. That’s raised questions about how those platforms make and enforce their terms of service and what consequences come from those decisions.
But history has shown that exerting more control over speech tends not to yield the intended result.
In this episode of Out of Frame, we’ll take a look at how the corporate and cultural response to increasing tides of restrictions on the free exchange of information is not only misguided, but will also foster a world with even more problems.

Not only does Twitter shadow ban prominent Republicans, they also consider any Trump supporter who tweets about "God," "guns," or "the flag" a Russian bot (as seen in our undercover expose.) https://t.co/lxo0JoN2GPpic.twitter.com/MAPhk8tsvr
Twitter accepts Tumblr’s help to cancel Reddit, who’s campaigning for the same election he’s running in.
Main cast:
Twitter – JFK
Tumblr – Joan of Arc
Reddit – Abraham Lincoln
(yes Discord would be Gandhi/Gary Coleman and Instagram would be Cleopatra)
Audio:
Clone High (Episode 2) – Episode Two: Election Blu-Galoo
Clone High (Episode 1) – Escape to Beer Mountain: A Rope of Sand
I used Paint Tool SAI and Sony Vegas Pro to make this animatic.

Started this project about a month ago. Might be my last mini animation project for a while due to school and work
Fun fact:
The song at the end is called “it was easy” by ilya (which was played in the background in the episode), but it’s absolutely impossible to find on the internet (i’d be grateful if someone somehow found the full song ahah)
Sidenote: The personifications are, for the most part, heavily exaggerated, with some sort of truth attached that mostly exclusively caters to my personal experience with each website ahaha

Advice from Ben Shapiro: Surround yourself with people who are going to give you honest advice, and not people who find revelry in tearing you down.
