Mailchimp é uma plataforma de automação de marketing e um serviço de email marketing. A plataforma é um nome comercial de sua operadora, Rocket Science Group, uma empresa americana fundada em 2001 por Ben Chestnut e Mark Armstrong, com Dan Kurzius se juntando a uma data posterior. A Mailchimp começou como um serviço pago e adicionou uma opção freemium em 2009. Em um ano, sua base de usuários cresceu de 85.000 para 450.000.
