A federal judge was not pleased when the Trump DOJ argued that a social media post accusing Fed Reserve Governor Lisa Cook of mortgage fraud gave her 5th Amendment Due Process, allowing her to be fired by Trump when she didn’t “respond” to the mean tweet! Michael Popok gives a bird’s-eye view of what went down in Judge Cobb’s courtroom today on the hearing on Cook’s Motion for Temporary Injunction to save her job, and a candid assessment that both sides have some troubles that the Judge is taking the weekend to sort out.
