Pune Violence | Tension In Pune District’s Daund After Social Media Post

An offensive post on social media by a man led to a clash between two groups in Pune district’s Daund taluka on Friday. Two-wheelers were set on fire, a weekly market was shut and police had to fire teargas shells to restore order. The man who made the post has been arrested.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger strongly criticize a new bipartisan bill backed by AIPAC and the ADL, arguing that it would dangerously conflate anti-Zionism with antisemitism and suppress free speech critical of Israel.

Jimmy points out that the legislation would allow the government to impose daily fines of $5 million on social media platforms that fail to remove content deemed hateful, effectively criminalizing dissent and granting the state excessive control over online discourse. Tempe Police arrest man over social media pranks | FOX 10 Phoenix

Police in the East Valley are accusing a 21-year-old man of being involved in a number of social media pranks that impacted several businesses.

“Between the months of March and July, businesses began reporting instances of a group of men coming into their stores dressed as employees. These men began seriously disrupting their businesses by entering employee-only areas and refusing to leave when asked,” read a portion of a statement released by Tempe Police on July 24. “One man was identified as the ‘leader’ of the group, instructed the others to begin ‘working.'”

Tempe Police identified the person they arrested as 21-year-old Heston Cobb, and he is accused of multiple crimes.
