Utah governor signs law to restrict social media access for kids and teens

Children and teenagers in Utah could lose their access to social media next year or face a barrage of restrictions after the state’s governor signed a law toughening access and limiting their time on platforms. NBC News’ Miguel Alamguer has more details on the new legislation.

President Trump retweeted a video showing a group of doctors in lab coats falsely claiming that there is a cure for coronavirus and that masks and shutdowns don’t help stop the spread. Twitter, Facebook and YouTube all took the video down but not before millions had seen it.
