How Ukraine – Not Russia – Floods Social Media With War Propaganda

We hear an inordinate amount about Russian propaganda relating to the Ukraine War, but as a recent study out of Australia revealed, the vast majority of bots spreading propaganda on social media at the beginning of the war were pro-Ukraine. Initially Russia lagged far behind as the #IStandWithUkraine hashtag dominated Twitter. And the reason? It seems that this bot army was prepped and ready to deploy by NATO and the West as soon as Russian troops crossed the border whereas the Russian disinfo operation took weeks to get up to speed.
