I decided that I’ve had enough, and I want to experience the world for myself.

I deleted social media one year ago, and digital minimalism changed my life. This isn’t some joke of a self-improvement tip, it really made a difference to my quality of life. I discuss how my mental health improved, how I gained real friends, how I have become more productive and became a better and happier person. As a genz, social media is not all bad, but I think it’s more important than ever (after 1 year of being inside) to take a break from TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook.

In August, I decided to quit social media, specifically Instagram, Twitter and Facebook (and I stopped uploading on Youtube). My relationship with social media was toxic and I knew I had to go cold-turkey to overcome my issues with it. Embracing digital minimalism has been a life-changing experience for me, but quitting social media isn’t necessary for everyone. In this video, I explore the pros and cons of quitting social media.
