Cuando decides comenzar a hacer email marketing y construir tu lista de correos, el primer paso que necesitas es encontrar una herramienta o software de email marketing. Por regulaciones del gobierno, no puedes utilizar tu correo personal para enviar emails masivos, sino que tienes que utilizar un proveedor de servicios de emails (como G Suite) para poder hacerlo. Con un servicio de email marketing, tu puedes enviar correos masivos a toda una lista de correos, configurar series de emails automáticos, y aprender más sobre tu audiencia a través de la segmentación.
Cuando seleccionas tu plataforma de email marketing tienes que asegurarte que tenga estas funcionalidades:
1) Puede mandar emails a muchas personas al mismo tiempo
2) Manejo de listas y segmentaciones, una función que te permite agregar y remover a personas de tu listas y segmentos, etiquetas o grupos para poder dividir tu audiencia en grupos específicos basados en sus perfiles o interacciones con tu negocio.
3) Alguna forma de crear formularios que te permitan captar registros en tu sitio web.
4) La capacidad de enviar series automáticas de emails cuando alguien se registra en una lista, y el poder enviar un email masivo a toda tu lista o a grupos específicos de tu lista.
5) Regulaciones de emails como CAN-SPAM
