It is an advanced paid advertising feature on eBay that allows you to bid on a keyword level.
This gives you preferred access to the top listing spot through keyword and budget control.
What you need to know about Promoted listings advanced BETA
This is based on a cost per click model, so you pay when somone clicks on your ad.
You have a daily budget feature which allows you to know what you are paying every day.
You can combine this with promoted listings standard for maximum effect.
How to get started with eBay promoted listings advanced Beta
1. Name your campaign
2. Name your ad group
3. select the CPC for the keywords then review your campaign
Please note, this campaign is for advanced sellers. It is easy to over spend your budget here
as your sales are not guaranteed when you use this feature.
When we start off, we set our daily budget. In our example, we leave it at $5.
Try this out for a few days at a time and keep on top of your sales.
Then go ahead and create your ad groups, and your listings.
HOT TIP: As dropshippers, we don’t make a huge profit, so we want to make sure that we are chosing our top products
to bid on. eBay will then give you some options of keywords and suggested bids.
