If your trying to scale an account, what’s a few strategies you guys use to find new targets?
Scenario for prospective:
You’ve got your top 10 competitors, you’ve set up AD segmentations, its been several months, ADs are doing well but now your at a plateau.
Easiest way to increase revenue would be to increase AD spend but do you guys ever branch out to find new keywords for new eyes? If so, how do you do this?
Our ppc team has co-opted @Steven Popeโs seo strategy for just that purpose on ppc (broadening search)
Identify the keywords your product currently organically ranks for 10/20-50. Within that filter
sort for highest volume, highest relevancy terms (edited)
use the best 5-10 (depending on specific data points) as new kw campaign(s) to try
also goes without saying you should be reviewing the STRs from any current campaigns where they exist

โ Rest-of-Search: Middle, bottom, and on the second page Amazon of the search page.
โ Product Pages: To show the ads on other seller details pages. Right now thereโs no option to put the place here.
From these options, sellers can get more traffic to their listings.
Amazon also offers 3 types of Bidding Strategies to help out sellers to overcome bid issues.
โ Dynamic Bids Down Only: Amazon will never bid more than the bid you have set. Theyโll adjust the bid to drive maximum conversion based on all the factors mentioned earlier. If a click is less likely to convert, the bid is reduced by up to 100%.
โ Dynamic Bids Up and Down: If a click is likely to convert, Amazon will use your set bid and will increase by up to 100% (in other words, double it) to appear top of the page and will increase by up to 50% to appear on a product page. The downward adjustments applied to low-converting clicks are the same as for โDown Only.โ
โ Fixed Bids: Amazon will bid exactly what you are telling it to without adjusting anything. Amazon always uses your default bid.

Ensure there is no cannibalization:
Broad Match keywords should not be all grouped together that have the same overall terms.
Exact, Broad, Phrase should be separated
Avoid putting hundreds of keywords into a campaign. Utilize ones that make sense.
Consider negating branded keywords or defensive ASINs (or well-converting exact match terms gleaned from auto campaigns) – within the auto campaign to avoid competition and cannibalization
